We all had a wonderful time at our 50th reunion.  The good memories of growing up in La Junta  were the topic of conversation of those attending the events.  There was a record turnout at the reunion with 65 classmates in attendance.  I believe it can be said that everybody enjoyed themselves and are looking forward to the next reunion. 

Our thanks to  Dick Kipper, Lida Rowden-Wall, Gary Holbrook, Harry Riffel and Wayne Purdy in spearheading the reunion effort.

Though summer turns to winter
And the present disappears
The laughter we were glad to share
Will echo through the years
When other nights and other days
May find us gone our separate ways
We will have these moments to remember
